WHY:

Settling in a new country; learning a new culture and language - becoming a new mother, I was searching for a way to feel grounded. A childhood memory of summers in Taiwan making pottery inspired me to take a pottery class in Zürich in 2024. It was an inspiration and ceramics became a constant presence in my mind. A year later I found a home at Atelier Alfar where I have been working on my craft.

It has been a transformative process and I have found an outlet for creativity and meditation that is a welcome addition to my world.
